Amara Raja Infra has announced the completion of India's first green hydrogen fuelling station in Leh, Ladakh. The project, with a capacity of producing 80kg of GH2 per day, was successfully executed under extreme conditions, including being located at a height of 3,400 meters above sea level with temperature variations between -25°Celsius to 30°Celsius. This milestone achievement will facilitate emission-free transport in and around Leh, positioning India at the forefront of green mobility initiatives. The inauguration of the facility was conducted by Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, emphasizing the importance of such sustainable infrastructure projects. Amara Raja Infra highlighted that the project will support NTPC Ltd in operationalizing five hydrogen fuel cell buses in the region, further promoting eco-friendly transportation methods.
