CommerceDotCom (CDC) has entered a partnership with the College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), to develop a hydrogen-powered urban concept vehicle. The collaboration, marked by a formal ceremony, aims to compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon 2025 in Doha, Qatar. The initiative builds on UiTM's past successes in green innovation at international events. Led by senior lecturer Ts. Dr. Mohamad Farid Misnan and postgraduate student Syed Mohd Harussani, the UiTM-CDC H2 Truck is set to redefine efficiency and sustainability in urban transportation. This project signifies Malaysia's leadership in green technology and showcases the potential of sustainable technology on a global stage. The vehicle's design prioritizes zero-emission operation, lightweight build, and optimized aerodynamics to support logistics and community services with reduced reliance on fossil fuels. CDC's strong support underscores its commitment to fostering environmentally friendly technologies and driving progress in clean energy. Through strategic partnerships with Myrenergy Sdn Bhd and Racing Boy, the initiative not only highlights the collaborative efforts between academia, industry, and future engineers but also inspires innovation and drives meaningful change.
