Hyundai Motor Co. has announced a partnership with the Ulsan metropolitan city in South Korea to collaborate on creating a clean hydrogen ecosystem. This partnership aims to establish a comprehensive municipal ecosystem based on clean hydrogen energy within Ulsan. The two entities will work together on developing and implementing hydrogen technology across various sectors like production and transportation. Hyundai and Ulsan city will also focus on expanding the use of hydrogen-powered mobility, including vehicles like tractors and forklifts. Additionally, they plan to develop hydrogen cargo tractors and run pilot vehicles on logistics routes originating from Ulsan. Co-CEO of Hyundai Motor, Lee Dong-seock, shared the company's vision of building a sustainable hydrogen society. This initiative signifies a strategic move towards a greener and more innovative future, emphasizing the importance of hydrogen energy in the transition towards cleaner transportation and industrial practices.
