ADA Green Hydrogen Holdings BV has announced its plan to invest more than USD 100 million in constructing a green hydrogen and ammonia production plant in Villa Hayes, Paraguay. The project, set to commence operations in the first quarter of 2028, aims to position Paraguay as a notable regional hub for renewable energy. The company chose Villa Hayes due to its strategic logistical advantages, enabling scalable production capacity. Akin Gunduz, the businessman behind the initiative, highlighted that the project will elevate Paraguay as a leader in renewable energy, offering various benefits such as job opportunities, technological progress, and improved energy security. The investment is seen as a pivotal milestone in promoting sustainable energy solutions globally while stimulating economic growth and environmental stewardship in Paraguay. Ada Green Hydrogen Investment BV, based in Rotterdam, focuses on green hydrogen projects to drive sustainable energy transition. Besides enhancing energy security in Paraguay, the project is expected to create avenues for exporting green hydrogen, thereby boosting economic revenue and fostering long-term development. The delegation from Ada Green Hydrogen Investments B.V. was welcomed by Paraguayan authorities, including the ambassador to Turkey and representatives from Rediex, showcasing a strong collaborative effort to advance Paraguay's renewable energy sector.
