Cyient, a global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, has secured a strategic contract to assist GreenH in establishing a hydrogen production and distribution facility in Bodø, Norway. The project, a collaboration between GreenH, a Norwegian company specializing in green hydrogen infrastructure, and Luxcara, an asset manager from Germany focusing on renewable energy projects, aims to advance Norway's renewable energy goals. The facility will provide green hydrogen fuel to the maritime sector and heavy transport industries, with a focus on fueling the Vestfjorden ferries. Civil construction for the project began in the fall of 2024. Cyient's responsibilities include offering owner's engineering and detailed plant engineering services to ensure efficient project delivery. Espen Lied, COO of GreenH, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Cyient, highlighting the importance of Cyient's expertise in realizing their hydrogen vision.
