Worley has been awarded a four-year framework agreement for Owner’s Engineering Services by Gasgrid Finland Oy, the Finnish Gas Transmission System Operator. The project will involve extending services beyond Finland to cover infrastructure in the Baltic Sea area and Sweden, with a focus on supporting the engineering and construction of onshore pipeline projects to the highest standards. This initiative is part of Finland's dedication to developing a fully integrated hydrogen economy, in line with global energy transition objectives. Worley's involvement in this sustainable project is seen as a significant contribution to Finland's national energy strategy. Gasgrid Finland Oy aims to maximize the economic benefits from the hydrogen economy and renewable energy investments, emphasizing high added-value investments and exports.
