This initiative aims to significantly reduce the nation's reliance on imported natural gas and ammonia. The Green Hydrogen Mission in India is expected to draw Rs 8 lakh crore in investments and generate employment opportunities. By 2050, India's hydrogen demand is expected to reach 29 MMT per year. The country has witnessed substantial growth in renewable energy capacity, with solar capacity expanding by an impressive 3000 percent over the past decade, reflecting India's commitment to sustainable energy development.
