The Sultanate of Oman is set to host the fourth edition of the Green Hydrogen Summit Oman (GHSO 2025) in Muscat from December 1–3, 2025. This summit, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals and in partnership with Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom), aims to bring together over 3,000 international delegates, including government officials, investors, and clean energy experts. Dr Firas Ali al Abduwani, Director General of Renewable Energy and Hydrogen, highlighted the significance of the summit in Oman's journey towards a green hydrogen economy, emphasizing the country's commitment to carbon neutrality. The event will provide a platform to invest in green hydrogen technologies, measure market readiness, and enhance the nation's energy policy. With Oman's hydrogen masterplan in focus, the summit will address key aspects such as energy security, economic diversification, emission reduction, competitiveness, and local capacity development. The summit has gained prominence over the years, attracting stakeholders from around the world and serving as a forum for knowledge sharing, innovation advocacy, and international engagement. Eng Abdulaziz al Shidhani, Managing Director of Hydrom Oman, expressed the summit's pivotal role in promoting Oman's green hydrogen strategy and engaging with global partners. The upcoming summit will feature technology exhibitions, policy discussions, and business development forums, further solidifying Oman's position as a regional clean energy hub that aligns with its Vision 2040 and Net Zero by 2050 goals.
