Furthermore, the amendments to the Sarawak Distribution of Gas Ordinance, 2016, have positioned Sarawak as a trailblazer in the regulation of hydrogen activities, a critical step towards a cleaner energy future. The enactment of the Natural Resources and Environment Ordinance, 2024, signals Sarawak's dedication to environmental conservation and sustainable development. Saferi praised the cooperation between the Federal Government and the Sarawak government in reclaiming rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963, acknowledging the pivotal role played by the Federal Attorney-General’s Chamber in this endeavor.
