Adani Energy Solutions has announced the successful acquisition of a significant power transmission project in Mundra, Gujarat, valued at around ₹2,800 crore. This project is essential for providing green electrons to support the production of green hydrogen and green ammonia in the region. The initiative, named the 'Transmission System for Green Hydrogen/Ammonia Manufacturing Potential in Mundra, Gujarat,' will entail the enhancement of the Navinal electrical substation with the incorporation of two substantial 765/400kV transformers. Additionally, a 75 km 765kV double-circuit line will be developed to link the Navinal substation to the Bhuj substation. By bolstering the infrastructure, the project will introduce 150 cKM of transmission lines and 3,000 MVA of transformation capacity to Adani Energy Solutions' existing network, elevating it to 25,928 cKM and 87,186 MVA, respectively. This recent achievement marks the sixth order obtained by AESL during this fiscal year, expanding its total order book to roughly ₹57,561 crore. The competitive bidding process that led to the project's procurement was facilitated by PFC Consulting Limited under a tariff-based mechanism. The project's special purpose vehicle was officially transferred to Adani Energy Solutions on March 20, 2025, signifying a significant milestone in the company's strategic advancements.
