Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu virtually inaugurated Hero Future Energies’ (HFE) green hydrogen blending plant at Rockman Industries in Tirupati, marking a significant milestone in the green energy sector. The project aims to mix green hydrogen with PNG/LPG for industrial furnace applications, effectively reducing carbon emissions. This initiative aligns with Andhra Pradesh's vision to become a global hub for green hydrogen production, as outlined in the state's Integrated Clean Energy ICE Policy - 2024. CM Naidu highlighted the state's industrial base and energy policies, positioning Andhra Pradesh to lead India's green hydrogen revolution and support the country's Net-Zero by 2070 goal. The event saw key stakeholders expressing strong commitment to decarbonization and eco-friendly practices, emphasizing the importance of initiatives like the Tirupati green hydrogen project in driving industrial innovation and reducing carbon footprints.
