The Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub, also known as ARCH2, will be hosting a community meeting at Walsh University in North Canton. This meeting is part of a multi-state project that aims to establish a hydrogen energy infrastructure and network spanning across Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The project is being supported by the Department of Energy's Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. Leading the regional initiative is Battelle, a science and technology company based in Columbus. Plans for the project include the construction of a production and carbon capture facility in the Canton area, which will be developed by the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority and Enbridge. The meeting at Walsh University offers attendees the opportunity to gain insights into the project, as well as the chance to share their perspectives with project leaders. This collaborative effort signifies a positive step towards advancing clean energy technologies and fostering public engagement in the region.
