The China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) recently signed an agreement for the Shenyang Green Fuel Base Project located in Kangping County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China. The project, with a significant intended investment amount of 32 billion yuan, focuses on constructing a biomass green methanol and oil facility with an annual production capacity of 500,000 metric tons, supported by 2 gigawatts of centralized wind power. The Phase I of the project includes the establishment of a 100,000 metric ton green methanol plant, while Phase II aims to further expand by building a 400,000 metric ton green aviation fuel project along with other related industries. This initiative marks a crucial advancement in renewable energy in the region, emphasizing sustainability and green practices.
