Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) in the UAE hosted a high-level delegation from the Dominican Republic led by Rafael Orlando Gómez Del Giudice to showcase its sustainability, clean, and renewable energy projects and initiatives. The visit aimed to exchange experiences and practices with DEWA, known as a global benchmark in the energy and water sectors. DEWA, through its commitment to sharing successful experiences, is supporting a greener and more sustainable future globally. The delegation visited the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the world's largest single-site solar park, and learned about DEWA's Green Hydrogen Project, pioneering solar-powered hydrogen production in the Middle East and North Africa. Additionally, the delegation toured DEWA's Innovation Centre, a hub for innovation in clean and renewable energy, and commended its contributions to advancing energy transition technologies.
