Gensol Engineering Limited and Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd. have emerged as the winners of a significant contract in India's green hydrogen sector. The consortium secured a bid to establish a 237 MW annual capacity electrolyser manufacturing plant under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme as part of India's National Green Hydrogen Mission. This win adds to their previous 63 MW capacity, totaling 300 MW and a cumulative incentive of Rs. 450 crore. Anmol Jaggi, Managing Director of Gensol Engineering, and Chirag Kotecha, Whole-time Director at Matrix Gas and Renewables, expressed their enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing the importance of the PLI bid in advancing their positions in the green hydrogen industry and contributing to India's renewable energy objectives.
