Additionally, universities like Southern University are introducing new energy concentrations within their programs to educate students on renewable energy and sustainability. The program has gained popularity among students, with growing enrollment indicative of the industry's increasing demand for skilled workers. Community colleges like Nunez Community College and River Parishes Community College are also offering courses in wind energy technology and alternative energy, providing avenues for individuals to enter the clean energy workforce.
