Haffner Energy has inaugurated a hydrogen production, testing, and training center in Marolles Champagne, France, using their patented thermolysis process to produce renewable hydrogen from biomass and organic waste. The site, funded by various French programs, aims to operate continuously for 8,000 hours a year and produce mobility-grade hydrogen at a rate of 15 kg/hour. This initiative is expected to avoid or capture 2,400 tonnes of CO2 annually, contributing to decarbonization efforts in mobility and industry. Haffner Energy's solutions are designed to process various types of biomass securely, offering biochar production and gasification technologies. The center, featuring state-of-the-art equipment like Gasiliner®, serves as a showcase for the company's capabilities in renewable energy production. Public funding from local and national sources has been crucial for the project, emphasizing strong government support for sustainable industrial development.
