Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on November 29 to initiate the construction of India's largest Green Hydrogen Hub. The groundbreaking project, located in Pudimadaka, Anakapalle district, will be developed by NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL). Spanning across an estimated 1,600 Acres and requiring an investment of 1,85,000 INR-Crore, the hub is set to be a game-changer in the renewable energy sector. It is projected to generate 1,500 Tonnes of green hydrogen daily, in addition to 4,500 Tonnes of green ammonia, 1,500 Tonnes of green methanol, and 1,500 Tonnes of SAF or green urea. This initiative signifies a significant step towards sustainable energy practices and signifies a monumental leap towards a greener future for India. The project is expected to not only revolutionize energy production but also solidify India's position as a global leader in sustainable energy innovation.
