Gensol Engineering has announced a partnership with Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd to set up India’s first green hydrogen valley project in Pune, Maharashtra. The project, facilitated by National Chemicals Laboratories in the Kurkumbh region, will focus on green hydrogen production using the electrolysis method under a Build Own and Operate (BOO) model. This initiative, supported by the Government of India through the Department of Science & Technology, aims to supply green hydrogen to the specialty chemical sector in Pune to boost the green hydrogen economy in India. Gensol Engineering, known for its expertise in solar engineering, procurement, and construction, and Matrix Gas & Renewables, a growing green hydrogen infrastructure developer, are collaborating on this pioneering project.
