Lhyfe, a pioneering producer of green and renewable hydrogen, is expanding its operations to northern France with a new production site in Croixrault, Hauts-de-France. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the site will have the capacity to produce and deliver up to two tonnes of green hydrogen per day, aiding in the decarbonization of industries and heavy mobility in the region. This initiative aligns with the ambitions of the local authority, Communauté de Communes Somme Sud-Ouest, aiming to boost employment and create an attractive economic environment. Green hydrogen will be available for distribution throughout the Hauts-de-France region, supporting manufacturers, logistics activities, and hydrogen mobility. Additionally, the controllable nature of Lhyfe's sites will help stabilize the power grid in the region, providing flexibility during peak power usage. The project signifies a step towards energy transition, reindustrialization, and sustainable growth in the region, with green hydrogen playing a crucial role in replacing fossil fuels and driving industrial transformation.
