Liquid Wind has announced a notable partnership with Övik Energi to develop a substantial eFuel production facility in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. In collaboration with Övik Energi, who will supply biogenic carbon dioxide, Liquid Wind aims to establish one of Europe's largest eFuel production sites, with operations commencing in spring 2025. The facility is anticipated to generate around 100,000 tons of eMethanol annually, marking a significant increase from the original production plans.
