In Muscat, Hydrom, a major player in Oman's green hydrogen initiative, recently conducted a workshop focusing on the readiness of the green hydrogen ecosystem. Eng Salim Nasser al Aufi, the Minister of Energy and Minerals and Chairman of Hydrom, emphasized the concrete advancements made in developing the green hydrogen sector in Oman. He announced the signing of eight projects in April with a total investment of US$49 billion. These projects have a collective goal of producing 1.38 million tons of green hydrogen. This substantial investment not only signals economic growth but also underlines Oman's dedication to transitioning towards a sustainable and promising future.
