EE North America and the Office of the Secretary of Energy of Oklahoma have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on developing green energy sites in Oklahoma. This partnership focuses on advancing renewable energy solutions and innovative Power-to-X technology, particularly converting green hydrogen into e-methanol and sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF). Governor Stitt lauded the partnership as a significant step forward for Oklahoma, aiming to leverage cutting-edge technology to build a more reliable and affordable energy grid, create jobs, and drive economic growth. EE North America plans to implement a comprehensive strategy in Oklahoma, including PV, Wind, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and Power-to-X (PtX) technologies, with a goal to achieve 1GW of energy generation capacity by 2027. European Energy, with its global expertise, will drive sustainable development in Oklahoma by integrating advanced hydrogen and Power-to-X technologies. The collaboration also strengthens international ties between Denmark and Oklahoma, with Ambassador Jesper Møller Sørensen expressing support for the partnership. The overall aim is to foster sustainable growth, innovation, and economic development through green energy initiatives. The partnership aligns with Governor Stitt's vision of making Oklahoma the most business-friendly state and a leader in energy innovation.
