These companies are now subsidiaries of Gensol Engineering and will focus on generating and distributing energy from wind, solar, and battery storage sources. Gensol's expertise lies in solar power engineering, procurement, and construction, with a track record of delivering over 770 MW of solar projects in various formats across India. The company's financial performance has been impressive, with a 141% year-over-year revenue growth, reaching ₹9.60 billion in FY 2024. Gensol's recent ventures include a partnership with Matrix Gas & Renewables to develop a green steel production facility using 100% green hydrogen technology. This innovative project, supported by government incentives, involves a significant capital expenditure of ₹3.21 billion and aims to utilize direct reduced iron vertical shaft technology for iron ore conversion. Furthermore, Gensol Engineering secured a substantial contract worth $22.21 million to install rooftop solar systems in Dubai for an aviation company's engineering facilities. The project, scheduled to be completed over 20 months, encompasses the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the solar systems, contributing to sustainable development in the UAE. In another milestone, Gensol, in collaboration with Matrix Gas & Renewables, has been chosen to establish India's inaugural Green Hydrogen Valley in Pune, Maharashtra.
