NEXTCHEM's subsidiary KT Tech has secured a significant agreement with Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) for the licensing and Process Design Package (PDP) of a new hydrogen production unit in Vietnam's Dung Quat Refinery upgrading project. The new unit, with a capacity of 22,676 cubic meters per hour, will utilize the NX Reform™ hydrogen technology known for its cost-effectiveness and potential to reduce the carbon footprint through CO2 capture. The technology's flexibility in feedstock and capacity makes it adaptable for varied production needs. By leveraging steam methane reforming methods, high operational efficiency is ensured. KT Tech will not only design the unit but also supply proprietary equipment during the construction phase.
