Provaris Energy Ltd and Norwegian Hydrogen have partnered with Uniper Global Commodities to develop hydrogen supply chains from Norway and other Nordic sites to North-Western Europe. This collaboration seeks to leverage Provaris' proprietary H2Neo compressed hydrogen carriers for the transportation of green hydrogen, aligning with Germany's decarbonization targets. The partnership's primary objective is to establish efficient and flexible supply chains that can deliver RFNBO-compliant hydrogen to industrial users in Germany. The MOU signed between the companies extends their previous partnership, initiated in April 2024, with the goal of expediting the creation of new hydrogen export sites strategically positioned in the Nordic region. These sites will be chosen for their strong grid connections and reliable power supplies to ensure competitive hydrogen production and export capabilities.
