Hamburg-based H2Global and the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) have formalized a partnership to advance green hydrogen collaboration. The memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed on November 19, aims to create international trade corridors for renewable hydrogen and its derivatives. This collaboration aligns with India's renewable energy goals and Europe's shift towards clean energy. The focus will be on sharing knowledge on market mechanisms and creating synergies to boost renewable hydrogen supply and demand. Susana Moreira, the Executive Director of H2Global, emphasized the transformative potential of cross-border collaboration in establishing a global market for renewable hydrogen. Similarly, Timo Bollerhey, CEO of Hintco, highlighted the agreement's significance in facilitating international trade in renewable hydrogen while strengthening cooperation between India and Europe. Overall, this partnership signifies a positive step towards a sustainable energy future, showcasing the opportunities for scaling up renewable hydrogen trade and fostering closer ties between regions.
