This investment was made through the Hydrogen Forest Investment Limited Partnership, established with NGK Spark Plug Co. Supercritical Solutions is known for its innovative high-pressure electrolyzer technology, which produces hydrogen with zero emissions. Unlike traditional methods that rely on fossil fuels, this technology aims to contribute to a carbon-neutral society by 2050. The company's electrolyzer design eliminates the need for electrolytic membranes or iridium catalysts, enabling cost-effective production of high-pressure green hydrogen with exceptional purity levels. This advancement positions Supercritical Solutions to cater to diverse markets such as ammonia and methanol production, industrial heat generation, and transportation fuel. A successful collaboration with ScottishPower and Proton Ventures resulted in a 21% cost reduction using Supercritical Solutions' technology. Global Brain and NGK Spark Plug plan to support Supercritical Solutions for future expansion, driving the adoption of this innovative green hydrogen production technology globally.
