Latvenergo, Latvia's national electricity company, and H2Pro, an Israeli green hydrogen innovator, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the deployment of H2Pro's decoupled electrolysis technology in Latvia. The agreement, signed during a visit by the Latvian Minister of the Economics to Israel, aims to integrate green hydrogen production with Latvia's renewable energy sources. Tzahi Rodrig, CEO of H2Pro, highlighted the opportunity to showcase the technology's efficiency within Latvenergo's energy infrastructure.
