The collaboration involves an investment from Lummus Venture Capital to expedite the commercialization of Advanced Ionics’ hydrogen electrolyzer technology. By leveraging Advanced Ionics’ Symbion™ Electrolyzers, which consume up to 40 percent less electricity per kilogram of hydrogen produced compared to other technologies, the partnership targets overcoming challenges in green hydrogen production such as high capital costs and electricity demands. The system's modular design facilitates quick deployment, operational efficiency, and reduced capital expenses through the utilization of readily available components.
