Barbados marked a significant advancement in its renewable energy objectives by introducing its inaugural green hydrogen energy project. The project, known as the 'Renewstable Barbados Project,' is a collaborative effort involving solar power, hydrogen fuel cell technology, and battery storage to ensure a stable and reliable energy supply to the national grid. Minister of Energy Senator Lisa Cummins lauded the initiative as a substantial step forward, emphasizing the critical international support it has garnered.
