Chloroplant Company Limited, a subsidiary of Marcon LC, has successfully secured a US$17 million contract from Singapore’s H1Hydro Group to undertake the development of a 10 MW green hydrogen plant in Sarawak, Malaysia. This state-of-the-art facility, slated for launch in early 2026, will leverage modular European electrolysis technology to ensure enhanced efficiency and scalability in its operations. The primary objective of this project is to support Sarawak's aspiration to establish itself as a prominent clean energy hub by capitalizing on its abundant renewable resources, particularly hydropower.
