The recent H2 MEET 2024 held in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, saw Hyundai Infracore's hydrogen engine HX12 being recognized with the top award by the Korea Automobile Journalists Association. This hydrogen engine, designed for 11-liter-class vehicles, stood out due to its exceptional maximum output and torque, positioning it ahead of its competitors. The HX12 also offers the advantage of being easily retrofitted onto existing internal combustion engine platforms, enhancing its versatility. Hyundai Infracore is gearing up for mass production of these hydrogen engines for trucks by the second half of 2025.
