Hyundai Motor Co. has announced the launch of a comprehensive global talent recruitment program aimed at attracting science and engineering graduates. The initiative, starting on April 1, includes three key programs: an internship for foreign students in Korea, an overseas undergraduate and master’s internship, and a recruitment drive for overseas Ph.D. graduates in science and engineering. The internship opportunities cover various sectors such as research and development, production, manufacturing, business planning, and corporate support. In addition, Hyundai will recruit interns for roles in R&D, manufacturing software, quality control, cybersecurity, and business planning from overseas universities and institutions.
Selected candidates will participate in a five-week program during July and August, with outstanding performers potentially receiving job offers at Hyundai. Ph.D. graduates specializing in fields like artificial intelligence, battery technology, hydrogen fuel cells, smart factories, robotics, advanced air mobility, and cybersecurity are encouraged to apply. The recruitment process for Ph.D. graduates will involve document screening in May, first-round interviews in June, and a final exchange program in August.
The program aims to bolster Hyundai's global competitiveness by attracting talented individuals with both potential and expertise. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to engage in technical discussions, network with industry professionals, visit Hyundai's Namyang Research & Development Center, and participate in a Tech Seminar. The final selection process will include interviews culminating in potential job offers for the participants.
