Lhyfe, a green hydrogen producer in France, has secured a significant four-year offtake agreement with Inocel to provide 140 tonnes of green hydrogen for fuel cell development. Inocel has been utilizing hydrogen from Lhyfe since early 2025 from its Belfort and Saint-Égrève plants to enhance its 300kW fuel cell systems for stationary power and mobility applications. The recent agreement guarantees Inocel a steady supply of green hydrogen for their operations. Inocel recently introduced its Z300 fuel cell product boasting an impressive 60% efficiency. Both companies view this partnership as a crucial step towards making green hydrogen more accessible. Lhyfe's CEO, Matthieu Guesné, highlighted the importance of this contract in their mission to promote green hydrogen availability. Inocel's Managing Director, Jules Billiet, expressed satisfaction with the deal, emphasizing the reliability of the green hydrogen supply. This development signifies a positive stride in the green energy sector, showcasing the growing importance and utilization of hydrogen in fuel cell technology.
