METRANS Group from the Czech Republic and Mobility and Innovation Production (MIP) have initiated operational testing of a hydrogen-powered truck in Slovakia. This truck, with a reported range of 750km on a single tank fueled by hydrogen, will be part of METRANS' sustainable fleet alongside e-trucks and electric solutions. The companies aim to test the vehicle for container transport within METRANS' European network, promoting eco-friendly logistics. The CEO of METRANS expressed enthusiasm for integrating climate-friendly transport solutions through innovations like the hydrogen truck, emphasizing a step towards decarbonizing European logistics. The truck and the collaboration were unveiled at the Slovakia Ring, coinciding with METRANS Danubia's 25th anniversary in Slovakia. This development signifies a proactive approach towards embracing green energy and sustainable transportation solutions in the logistics sector.
