On August 23, the Fuyin Expressway in Hubei, specifically the Wuhan-Shiyan section, unveiled the first comprehensive energy demonstration line spanning 400 kilometers. This innovative artery integrates various energy supply services including charging, battery replacement, and hydrogen refueling to address the 'range anxiety' of drivers, especially during high-speed charging. The initiative aims to transform the energy infrastructure and promote sustainable transportation methods. A supercharging experience event was organized along the route, allowing users to engage in diverse new energy charging activities from supercharging to mobile charging. The line boasts 146 charging piles, 4 hydrogen and gas stations, 5 battery swap stations, and 16 gas stations, offering a wide array of energy replenishment solutions. Liquid-cooled supercharging stations enable ultra-fast charging, with passenger cars taking only 5 minutes for a battery swap. The cities along this energy demonstration line include Wuhan, Xiaogan, Suizhou, Xiangyang, and Shiyan, benefiting from the enhanced energy infrastructure. Each service area station is equipped with advanced charging technology like Huawei 600kW liquid-cooled supercharging piles and 250kW fast charging piles, showcasing the commitment to innovation and efficiency in energy supply. The project signifies a significant step towards sustainable energy practices and the integration of renewable sources in the transportation sector.
