Additionally, hydrogen's abundance and ability to be synthesized from renewable sources make it an attractive option for combating climate change. Despite challenges in storage and transportation, South Korea is leading the way in hydrogen technology, with substantial investments in infrastructure and research. The country's 'Green New Deal' emphasizes the shift towards hydrogen, offering significant subsidies for HFCV purchases. With over 60 countries implementing hydrogen strategies, the global trend towards hydrogen technology is on the rise, with Japan and South Korea leading the market. While EVs face safety concerns related to lithium-ion batteries, HFCVs offer quicker refueling times and a solid-state storage system considered very safe. The transition from EVs to HFCVs signifies a significant step towards a greener energy economy.
