IVECO has delivered two S-eWay Fuel Cell heavy-duty trucks to BMW as part of the H2Haul project, showcasing the practicality of hydrogen trucks for zero-emission long-haulage. The event in Leipzig included insights into hydrogen's use across BMW's value chain and the inauguration of hydrogen refuelling stations by TEAL Mobility. IVECO's commitment to sustainable transport was highlighted, emphasizing the importance of hydrogen in decarbonizing heavy-duty missions. The project aims to demonstrate the viability of hydrogen fuel-cell trucks across Europe, with a fleet of 12 vehicles deployed. By showcasing hydrogen technology, the industry is collectively working towards decarbonizing logistics and accelerating the adoption of hydrogen-powered mobility, marking a significant step in industry decarbonization efforts.
