Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, is making strides towards a greener public transport system with the launch of a tender for 70 electric buses by the city's public transport company ZET. The move follows the recent introduction of the city's first electric bus, signaling a commitment to sustainability. The investment of EUR 50 million will facilitate the acquisition of 33 12-meter electric buses, 29 articulated electric buses, and 8 midi electric buses. These vehicles are mandated to have impressive ranges per charge, with rigid and articulated buses aiming for 300 kilometers and midi buses for 200 kilometers.
