Toyota is set to deploy hydrogen fuel cell Class 8 heavy-duty trucks in California to support its parts center, showcasing a commitment to sustainable transportation. These trucks, after successful pilot testing, will operate routes from the Port of Long Beach to various locations in California. To facilitate this fleet, a new hydrogen fueling station is being constructed in partnership with Air Liquide and Iwatani, promising faster fueling times. Toyota also unveiled its Gen 3 hydrogen powertrain, offering enhanced durability, improved fuel efficiency, and the ability to go 600,000 miles without a major service.
