Nikola Corporation, a global leader in zero-emissions transportation and energy supply, has unveiled its plans to bolster the HYLA network with a new hydrogen refueling station in West Sacramento, California. The station, located at 917 Stillwater Rd, signifies a crucial development in Nikola's commitment to provide hydrogen refueling solutions for Class 8 trucks. Scheduled for commercial operation in January 2025, the West Sacramento station will cater to up to 20 Nikola hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks daily, enhancing hydrogen presence in Northern California. President of Energy Ole Hoefelmann expressed excitement about the station's opening, highlighting its significance for Nikola and the convenience it offers to fleet customers in the area. The company aims to strengthen the north-south I-5 freight corridor and extend coverage from the Port of Oakland, contributing to a zero-emission future.
