Tata Motors in India has initiated trials for hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, including Tata Prima models with H2-ICE and FCEV technologies. These trials, launched by government officials and funded under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, aim to assess the commercial viability of hydrogen vehicles and the necessary infrastructure. Over 24 months, 16 trucks will operate in major freight corridors like Mumbai and Delhi-NCR.
