AM Green, a green hydrogen and ammonia producer in India, has partnered with DP World to develop logistics and storage infrastructure for exporting 1 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of green ammonia and green methanol. This collaboration focuses on creating a sustainable supply chain for green fuels and chemicals to support global decarbonisation objectives. The partnership entails the development of port infrastructure in AM Green Net-Zero Industrial Clusters for global exports, bunkering infrastructure across Dubai, India, and Southeast Asia, and terminal infrastructure in the European Union, Far East, and UAE. AM Green aims to produce 5 mtpa of green ammonia by 2030, contributing significantly to India's and Europe's green hydrogen targets. The company has already finalized plans for a 1 mtpa green ammonia plant in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The partnership between AM Green and DP World seeks to enhance the global green supply chain by efficiently exporting green ammonia, green methanol, and other sustainable fuels, aligning with the transition to a low-carbon economy. Both companies express enthusiasm for their collaboration, with AM Green focusing on building world-class infrastructure for global green molecule movement and DP World emphasizing its commitment to driving sustainable supply chains.
