In 2023, the airport achieved a 10.7% reduction in energy consumption, highlighting its efforts in lowering emissions from waste by 50% and transitioning to electric vehicles. The airport has embarked on a EUR200 million project to source all its energy needs from renewable resources, with the aim of slashing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 80%.
