Gensol Engineering, in partnership with Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd, has announced a groundbreaking project to set up India's first green hydrogen valley in Pune. The plant, to be established on a Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis using electrolysis, will produce green hydrogen for the specialty chemical sector. Anmol Jaggi, Managing Director of Gensol Engineering, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, emphasizing the pivotal role of the Government of India in promoting Hydrogen Valleys through the Department of Science & Technology. The project, supported by the National Chemicals Laboratories in Pune, will be located in the Kurkumbh region.
