FlexFuel Hydrogen Development (Shenzhen), a subsidiary of China International Development Corporation Limited (CIDC), has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with MCC Tiangong Group Corporation Limited to promote the adoption of hydrogen injection technologies in various industrial and transport sectors in mainland China. This partnership has led to the formation of a joint venture named Flex Fuel Eco Company Limited, which now owns FlexFuel Hydrogen Development. The new entity has successfully set up over 60 hydrogen decarbonisation and engine cleaning stations across more than 20 locations, including Beijing, Wuhan, Xinjiang, Guangdong province, and Macau. These installations are part of CIDC's strategy to increase revenues through hydrogen-based services commercialization. The collaboration focuses on utilizing the hydrogen engine cleaning injection system developed by FFHD for vehicles, trucks, ships, aircraft, and industrial machinery. Service agreements have been secured with key operators like Jilin Dacheng Fangxin Automobile Service Co., Ltd., with revenue generation already underway and expected to grow with operational expansion. MCC Tiangong's involvement, as a construction enterprise supervised by influential Chinese entities, provides the joint venture with a strong industrial network and logistical support. The partnership is poised to drive advancements in mechanical maintenance with hydrogen applications while allowing MCC Tiangong access to Flex Fuel technology innovations. CIDC aims to leverage this collaboration to explore opportunities in China's energy sector, paving the way for high-yield ventures.
