Verso Energy has announced a public consultation on its €1.4 billion e-SAF project in Chavelot, Northeastern France, focusing on sustainable aviation fuel. This project aligns with their partnerships and collaborations in the biofuels and hydrogen sectors. Recently, Verso Energy partnered with Rely to develop seven synthetic sustainable aviation fuel plants globally. Furthermore, they have joined forces with the City of Oulu in Finland to produce sustainable aviation fuel from green hydrogen, emphasizing their commitment to sustainability. Additionally, Verso Energy has reserved a site at the Port of Oulu in northern Finland for a new plant dedicated to hydrogen production. These initiatives showcase Verso Energy's proactive approach towards advancing sustainable energy solutions and reducing carbon emissions in the aviation industry.
