NFI Group Inc., through its subsidiary Alexander Dennis Limited, has secured an order from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority for 58 next-generation Enviro400EV zero-emission buses. These electric buses are set to join the city region's fleet, operated by a commercial bus operator, in line with the goal of introducing franchising from 2026 onwards. The purchase of these buses is supported by the Department for Transport's Zero-Emission Bus Regional Areas fund. The Enviro400EV buses are designed to maximize environmental benefits, with excellent energy efficiency and low operating costs.
