The event saw the virtual launch of hydrogen-fuel buses set to operate in Leh, marking a significant move towards green technology. The company also achieved a groundbreaking milestone by successfully synthesizing CO2 with hydrogen to produce methanol at its Vindhyachal plant, a pioneering initiative in carbon management and sustainable fuel production. NTPC showcased its dedication to innovation by working on Gen-4 ethanol, green urea, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel, along with developing an indigenous catalyst for Methanol Synthesis. The 50-year logo unveiling emphasized the company's legacy, commitment to growth, and excellence. Additionally, NTPC highlighted its CSR program, Girl Empowerment Mission, and the release of new IT applications during the celebrations.
